Bingara NSW

We have now been at Bingara south of Warialda for two days, camped on the Gwydir River 8km out on the Copeton Dam Road. Its a great spot, the river is running a banker because they are letting water out of Copeton Dam. We drove up to the Dam yesterday but did not go in because they now have a $10.00 fee at the entrance boom gate. There is no lookout and every track or road is locked up, you can only see the dam from the road across the wall but there is no where to stop for a photo, this is a great disappointment no wonder people free camp.

Th bird life is incredible here these are just a few shots. We will be heading up to Texas today so will post when can all the best Les & Sue
