It is now Friday the rain has cleared so on with the walking shoes and off to Canarvon Gorge. We walked up to the Moss Gardens which is a good walk for inexperienced walkers like us. It was a delight wandering through the rain forest with the various palms trees and wildflowers enjoying the recent rain. The bottle brush was out in flower they where up in crevice's and rocky outcrops, there yellow flowers added a lot of colour to the bush along with the wattle.

We headed back to camp mid afternoon,after a late lunch we went down to the Platypus pool for some late afternoon photos, unfortunately no Platypus as there where some children there throwing rocks into the pool and the parents just let them do it but reminding them periodically to keep quiet in a load voice (some people just don't get it)

Saturday arrived with some more cold light rain but stopped around midday so off to Mickeys Gorge for a look, after a bit of a rock climb we made it to a beautiful narrow gorge.
This was the highlight of the trip and will return next year with a graphite tripod as i had to leave my old tripod at camp being to heavy to carry, so all my shots where hand held lucky the sun broke through now and then.
On the way out of the park we came across a monument to a plane crash that happened during the war.
